Header Challenge

This week's header challenge is "flags." Here's mine. Creating this banner this week had me thinking back to the Sunday-night football games on this year's 9/11. Watching all those gigantic men holding that flag across the field just kind of got me because the sight was an eloquent reminder that being of a nation is made up of so many ordinary things taken together with love and the simple pleasure of familiarity.

This header activity is Imac's head-banger challenge. Please see the other head-bangers Dave, Lanny, Imac, Gailsman, and Tom the Fishing Guy to see their takes on this theme.
